Evaluate black jewelry packaging with the actual jewelry, proposed interior and intended lighting. Compare the visibility of the piece and artwork from the buyer’s viewing position rather than assuming that a dark background always improves presentation.
Use the real display arrangement
Place the sample where it will be viewed and use the intended jewelry. Review the open and closed positions. A photograph taken under different lighting is useful as a reference but cannot settle the final contrast decision.
Check the item and its surroundings
Compare the jewelry with the immediate background, not only the outer box. Consider whether fine details remain easy to see and whether the interior distracts from the piece. Specify a different interior appearance if the sample does not support the intended view.
Review the mark from the same position
Check logo and label readability at the distance used for the display. Examine the selected surface from more than one angle when its appearance changes with the light. Confirm artwork and finishing method separately.
Record the viewing conditions
Keep the lighting, viewing direction and item used for the review with the visual brief. This assessment addresses visibility; it does not prove light protection, scratch resistance or an increase in sales.
