Approve a black jewelry box by checking its surface appearance, artwork, opening and item fit against a written sample brief. A premium look is a design judgment; protection and durability require separate acceptance criteria.
Compare the surface with the reference
Review the agreed color and surface appearance on the actual material. Decide which visible variations are acceptable before approving the sample. Do not infer the finishing process from a photograph or a dark color.

Inspect the artwork at finished size
Check the mark, lettering and placement on each relevant face. Examine the relationship between the artwork and the opening edges so the design remains coherent when the box is used.
Handle the loaded sample
Place the intended jewelry in the proposed interior, operate the closure and remove the item. Record the fit, access and opening details that need changing. Confirm the material and insert rather than assuming them from the exterior.
Record separate approval decisions
Keep visual acceptance, fit acceptance and any handling or shipping test requirements distinct. Retain the reviewed artwork and sample reference for comparison. An attractive box should not be described as durable or protective until the applicable requirements have been checked.
