Use small round boxes for selected pieces within an inventory arrangement: list the jewelry, assign a position to each item and check that it can be identified and removed. One compact box need not hold the whole collection.
Sort by use before assigning space
Separate the pieces used regularly from those kept for occasional presentation. Record pairs and accompanying parts together. This list helps identify which pieces need individual positions and which should use a different storage format.

Match each position to a real item
Test the intended piece against the usable interior and selected insert. The round exterior does not establish compartment count or internal clearance. Do not force a necklace, bracelet or larger item into a space chosen only for its appearance.
Make the arrangement understandable
Decide how a piece will be found when several similar boxes are present. A location list or an agreed identifying label can be part of the arrangement, provided any labeling is suitable for the selected surface.
Review the routine
Try removing and returning the jewelry in the intended order. Revisit the allocation when the collection changes. Organization can make the inventory easier to review, but it does not prove protection against scratches, tangles or loss.
